Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition was allowed to be released in the USA

The Federal Communications Commission of the United States (FCC) approved the release of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition (FE) in the country, however, this happened even before the rumors about the cancellation of the phone appeared.

The FCC confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was manufactured by Samsung in Vietnam and tested between August 24 and 31. The FCC certification was issued on September 2nd. The database also indicates that the packaging of the device may include headphones, a data cable, and a 25W charger with model number EP-TA800.

A Samsung spokesperson confirmed this week that the company canceled the Galaxy S21 FE 5G presentation in October and is considering releasing the Galaxy S21 FE 5G. Moreover, Samsung has removed Galaxy S21 FE pages from its official websites in a number of regions, including Hong Kong, Singapore, South Africa, Levant, and others.

According to information from the Google Play Console, the device will receive at least 6 GB of RAM and a Full HD + screen. It is expected that out of the box the smartphone will run Android 11. The smartphone should receive a 6.4-inch screen with support for an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, as well as a 4370 mAh battery and a 12-megapixel main camera.
