Samsung has returned the page of the unannounced Galaxy S21 FE smartphone to its official website. It does not contain any information about the upcoming smartphone, except for the model number - SM-G990B. However, this is proof of an imminent announcement.
Despite rumors circulating on the Internet about the cancellation of the Galaxy S21 FE, the phone has appeared in the database of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which is a very reliable confirmation of the imminent release of the device.
Back at the beginning of the year, Samsung accidentally published a poster showing the Galaxy S21 FE. The company later opened the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE support page, but then removed all references to this device from its website. Then rumors spread that Samsung had decided to ditch the smartphone due to the rapidly growing demand for foldable smartphones. However, recent events show that Samsung hasn't given up on the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition.
According to information from the Google Play Console, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will receive at least 6 GB of RAM and a Full HD + screen. It is expected that out of the box the smartphone will run Android 11. The smartphone should receive a 6.4-inch screen with support for an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, as well as a 4370 mAh battery and a 12-megapixel main camera. Earlier it was reported that initially Samsung planned to produce about 15 million copies of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, but then the planned volume had to be reduced by about 3 million smartphones.
Authoritative network whistleblower Jon Prosser has announced that the smartphone will launch on January 11, 2022.
