Sony WF-C500 Wireless In-Ear Headphones Introduced

Sony Electronics has added the WF-C500 wireless in-ear headphones to its range. To connect, they use the Bluetooth 5.0 interface. Supported profiles are A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP, and SBC and AAC codecs.

The novelty is described as "ideal for customers moving from wired headphones to true wireless." The manufacturer refers to its advantages as great autonomy (up to 10 hours, and taking into account recharging in a case - up to 20 hours). A quick 10-minute charge gives listeners up to an hour of extra playback time.

Emitters with a diameter of 5.8 mm are installed in the headphones. The range of reproducible frequencies is stated to be 20–20,000 Hz. Thanks to DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) technology, the headphones enrich the high-frequency content of the sound. The user has the ability to adjust the sound using the equalizer in the Sony | Headphones Connect. Ergonomic design is also recorded in the advantages of the product.

The headphones are equipped with a microphone and buttons that not only allow you to play, pause or skip tracks and adjust the volume but also quickly access voice assistants and answer phone calls. The degree of protection of the product is IPX4.

The WF-C500 has a suggested retail price of $ 100. The headphones are available in several colors. The set includes a compact and stylish cylindrical charging case.
