SteelSeries has introduced the Apex 3 TenKeyLess (TKL) keyboard. According to the manufacturer, this is the first TKL waterproof gaming keyboard. It is addressed to "serious players". The degree of protection of the keyboard is IP32.
The silent switches used in the keyboard can withstand over 20 million keystrokes. The keyboard is decorated with addressable backlighting, divided into eight zones. The backlight can be synchronized with the backlight of other SteelSeries devices. The keyboard equipment includes media controls: a volume control roller with button function and keys for quick control of playback, volume and brightness.
The SteelSeries Engine software is used to change settings and macros, which is part of the SteelSeries GG software ecosystem, which also includes free applications and content, including the free SteelSeries Moments application, which allows players to record, edit and publish game moments to YouTube and Gfycat, Discord, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, and other similar places.
