Teamgroup, which offers T-Force-branded components for gaming computers, has unveiled the T-Force Cardea A440 Pro Special Series solid-state drive. It is marketed as an SSD for the Sony PlayStation 5 console.

The M.2 2280 drive has a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface and supports the NVMe 1.4 protocol. It is available in 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB sizes. The 1 TB model allows you to count on read and write speeds of up to 7200 MB / s and 6000 MB / s, respectively, and the other two models - up to 7400 MB / s and 7000 MB / s, respectively. As for the maximum performance, it is the same for all models in all modes and is equal to 1 million IOPS. The drive is equipped with a "graphene" heatsink. SSD dimensions are 80 x 22 x 3.7 mm, weight - 13 g.

The resource of a 1 TB drive is declared equal to 700 TBW, a 2 TB drive - 1400 TBW, a 4 TB drive - 3000 TBW. The drives are backed by a five-year warranty.
