The 6.1-inch Samsung Galaxy S22 will account for more than 50% of shipments of the entire series

According to The Elec, the compact flagship Samsung Galaxy S22 with a 6.1-inch display will account for more than half of the Galaxy S22 phones produced. Samsung sees a lot of potential in this device. The 6.7-inch Galaxy S22 + is expected to account for 20% of shipments, while the 6.8-inch Galaxy S22 Ultra will account for 20-30%. Sources have confirmed that the Galaxy S22 Ultra is touted as the successor to the Note 20 Ultra and will support the S Pen stylus.

Samsung has never planned this before - one model to account for more than half the production of the entire line. In the Galaxy S20 line, the standard version accounted for 40% of production, while the Plus and Ultra models accounted for up to 45% and 15%, respectively.

In addition, Samsung plans to produce only about 20 million units for the entire S22 series, at least initially, which is very conservative compared to the usual 25-30 million units. However, the 20 million targets could change when mass production starts or after the phones are introduced.

The decrease in the forecast for shipments is due to the shortage of chips, as well as the deterioration in sales of the flagship series of Samsung, which has been observed over the past couple of years.

Accessory makers have already launched cases for the Samsung Galaxy S22, after which high-quality images in different colors have been published.
