The new MacBook Pros risk getting bangs

There is less and less time left until the next Apple presentation, and more and more interesting rumors about the expected new products appear on the network. The main "highlights of the program" at the event on October 18 should be the MacBook Pro on SoC M1X and the next generation of AirPods.

One of the completely insane last-minute rumors was a message from the Chinese social network Weibo, which drew the attention of the authoritative resource MacRumors and which was picked up by other informants, allegedly confirming the rumor. And while it might just be a joke, the news is too exciting to be ignored.

So, it is reported that Apple is not only in no hurry to get rid of the "bangs" in the iPhone, but also implements this not-so-beautiful design element in its new MacBook Pro. It is noted that the cutout is similar in size to the "bangs" of the iPhone 12 (in the iPhone 13 it is already smaller).

Also, the second informant, already on Reddit, says that instead of the Face ID TrueDepth camera, like the iPhone, the MacBook Pro cutout will house a webcam (1080p), a True Tone light sensor, and a microphone. A similar cut is predicted for the updated 2022 MacBook Air.
