The new Xiaomi flagship arrives with 4K OLED display, 16GB RAM and iris recognition

Xiaomi is working on a new 4K curved OLED screen smartphone similar to the recently launched Xiaomi Civi. This information, along with the image of the smartphone, appeared in the database of the Chinese regulator TENAA.

There are already smartphones on the market with 4K screens such as the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. This high resolution hasn't become popular in the industry - it's hard to tell the difference between 4K and the more popular QHD resolution. Plus, 4K displays use more power.

As previously reported, this smartphone may be released under the name Xiaomi CC11 Pro. The source clarifies that the battery capacity will be 4500 mAh, not 4400 mAh. Another feature that is mentioned for the first time is “iris recognition”. The feature debuted back in the Samsung Galaxy S8, but it never became popular.

The smartphone is equipped with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory. Its dimensions are 158.34 x 71.5 x 6.98 mm with a mass of 166 g. The phone will also receive a 64-megapixel camera and a sub-screen scanner.
