The tiny iPhone 13 mini lags behind the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra in the autonomy test

Phone Buff channel experts compared the autonomy of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. Thanks to the use of a robotic arm and the invariability of the methodology, we can compare these results with others.

To begin with, let's recall that the iPhone 13 mini is equipped with a 5.4-inch screen and a 2406 mAh battery. For the iPhone 13, the corresponding figures are 6.1 inches and 3227 mAh. As you can see, the older model won this competition, but the gap cannot be said to be catastrophic. At the same time, in some scenarios, the smaller device looked even a little better, losing the most in games.

We can also compare the results of the smallest flagship smartphone on the market with its larger counterparts, which are often equipped with twice as large batteries. While the iPhone 13 mini is provided with 8 hours and 30 minutes of work, for example, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra lasts only an hour long, and the Note20 Ultra is less than half an hour ahead of the new Apple product. At the same time, the iPhone 12 mini lost almost an hour to its successor.
