Three more F-mount Nikkor lenses discontinued

The source says Nikkor has discontinued three more F-mount lenses. The company's Canadian office reportedly sent out a notice that they were no longer in production. The list includes the full-frame Nikon AF-S Nikkor 80-400mm f / 4.5-5.6G ED VR and Nikon AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f / 2.8G IF-ED models, as well as the Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 12 model -24mm f / 4G IF-ED, designed for use with APS-C (Nikon DX) cameras.

This is not the first post of this kind. In May, it became known about the discontinuation of the AF-P DX Nikkor 18-55mm f / 3.5-5.6G VR, AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm f / 4G ED VR, AF-S Nikkor 28-300mm f / 3.5-5.6G models ED VR, AF-S Nikkor 200mm f / 2G ED VR II, AF-S DX Nikkor 16-80mm f / 2.8-4E ED VR, AF-S DX Nikkor 18-300mm f / 3.5-6.3G ED VR and AF- S DX Nikkor Micro 85mm f / 3.5G ED VR. The announcement was preceded by a manufacturer's announcement that two of the three Japanese- based lens factories would be closed.
