Video cards continue to rise in price


Resource 3DCenter continues to monitor the situation with markups for video cards of the current generation. In this case, for the analysis, the source took prices in Germany and Austria. 

As you can see in the graph below, the margins relative to the recommended prices for GeForce RTX 30 cards increased by only 2 percentage points, to 72% (172% on the chart is not a markup, but a price). At the same time, AMD adapters continue to rise in price more actively, and now the average markup is already 83%. This is a record value since the end of May, while in the case of Nvidia cards, the mark-ups correspond to the level of the beginning of the year. 

The most affordable adapters of the current generation in Europe are now the GeForce RTX 3060, which can be purchased for at least 600 euros, and the slightly faster Radeon RX 6600 XT, which starts at the same 600 euros.
