Xiaomi presented a new development strategy for Redmi Note

Lu Weibing, who serves as President of Xiaomi Group China and CEO of Redmi, made an important announcement about the development strategy of the Redmi Note series a couple of days before the announcement of the Redmi Note 11.

He confirmed that the company plans to release two generations of Redmi Note devices a year in the future. The new launch strategy kicks off with the launch of the Redmi Note 11 this Thursday. That being said, Redmi also gives the official reason for its new strategy. Lu Weibing stated that they cannot meet the needs of every user with one generation of mobile phones. Therefore, they decided to release two different Redmi Note novelties a year.

Lu Weibing stated that the Redmi Note 11 will be the successor to the Redmi Note 9 series. He added that the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is solely focused on performance with the Dimensity 1100 SoC and not on things like screen and charging speed. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 11 Pro will bring a ton of screen and performance improvements while also getting the Dimensity 920.

In the odd generation, the emphasis will be on new experiences, and in the even generation, the emphasis will be on performance. From now on, Redmi wants to cater to the needs of as many audiences as possible. As a result, there will now be two modern generations of Redmi Note series models on the shelves at any time of the year.

The presentation of Redmi Note 11 will take place on October 28.
