Yan Li, director of the Radio Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Information and Communications Technology, said that in July this year, the "5G Application "Sailing" Action Plan (2021-2023)" jointly issued by the ten ministries and commissions of the state clearly stated that by 2023, my country's 5G application development level will be significantly improved. Strength continues to increase. Among them, the development of 5G industry applications is an extremely important part.
The two parties jointly stated that relying on the advantages of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology in policy, research, and industrial integration capabilities, and leveraging Huawei’s technical reserves and practical experience in the fields of laboratory infrastructure, network technology, and project implementation, the joint laboratory will speed up 5GtoB. The scale of land is replicated to thousands of industries to play a key role.
According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, my country has built more than 1.15 million 5G base stations, accounting for more than 70% of the world’s total. It is the world’s largest and most technologically advanced 5G independent networking network. More than 97% of counties and urban areas and 40% of towns and townships have achieved 5G network coverage; 5G terminal users have reached 450 million, accounting for more than 80% of the world.
