Germany's largest store sells 465 Alder Lake processors and 2,630 AMD Ryzen processors in a week

The largest hardware store in Germany, Mindfactory, has released data on CPU sales for the 45th week of this year, from November 8-14. This is the first full week of sales of Alder Lake processors, which appear to be in stock in sufficient quantities. And although the lineup is still represented by only six models, Alder Lake is selling cheerfully: 465 processors were bought in a week. But Intel's new products are unlikely to be able to reach the popularity of AMD Ryzen.

During the same week, 2,630 AMD processors were purchased, intended for installation on motherboards in socket AM4. Thus, AMD CPUs accounted for 64.63% of sales (average processor cost - 330.74 euros), Intel CPU market share - 35.37% (average processor cost - 288.96 euros).

The top 5 most popular processors are represented only by AMD models - these are Ryzen 7 5800X, Ryzen 5 5600X, Ryzen 5 5600G, Ryzen 7 3700X and Ryzen 9 5900X. But the 12-core newcomer Intel Core i7-12700K immediately managed to break into sixth place. There were 150 such processors sold - almost exactly one third of all sold by Alder Lake fell on this one model.
