Google has fixed the random call issue on Pixel phones

Google officially released the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones last month. Many users have recently reported that on multiple Pixel devices (including Pixel 6), their phones will give up for no reason. People make calls.

According to the latest response from the Pixel community manager, Google has fixed this bug, and users need to upgrade the Google App to the latest version (12.43.18 or later) , which can be updated through the Play Store.

The main problem reported by users is that sometimes their mobile phones will automatically light up and start calling contacts. These contacts seem to be randomly selected from the mobile phone contact list. Users report that the problem occurs on different Pixel devices, not only Pixel 6, but also Pixel 3a and Pixel 4a.

Some users checked the history of their mobile assistant Assistant and found that Assistant was "telled" to make calls , even though some users were sleeping. Users can temporarily solve this problem by disabling the "OK Google" wake word, and now Google has finally fixed it.
