Honor 50 started selling in Russia


The company Honor, which separated from Huawei, began open sales of the Honor 50 smartphone ( first glance ), which managed to become a hit not only in China but also among Russian users during the pre-order period.

Shortly after the opening of the pre-order acceptance in Russia, the company's representative office announced that the first batch of devices in the official online store was completely sold out in just a minute. We found out, the size of the first batch was 3000 pieces. 

The smartphone is offered to Russian users at a recommended retail price of 34,990 rubles for the version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory, 39,990 rubles for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory, as well as 44,990 rubles for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash storage. There are discounts for the first buyers - now a smartphone can be bought for 31 490, 35 990, and 40 490 rubles, respectively. For the basic version of Honor 50 in Europe, they ask for 530 euros (43,718 rubles).

After separating from Huawei, Honor managed to return Google services and applications to its smartphones. The first such swallow was just the Honor 50 model. The smartphone received an OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.57 inches, a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels with an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, a quadruple main camera with sensors with a resolution of 108, 8, 2, and 2 megapixels, a 32-megapixel front camera. 

The hardware base is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G single-chip platform. The 4300mAh battery supports 66W fast charging. NFC is also supported. The smartphone is running the Android 11 operating system with Magic UI 4.2.
