Huami Amazfit GTR 3 Pro blood pressure screening study officially launched

Huami Technology officially announced that the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro blood pressure screening study was officially launched. After entering the blood pressure screening study, users can use the blood pressure monitoring function opened by Amazfit GTR 3 Pro to record blood pressure changes.

Through the BioTracker 3.0 PPG biological tracking optical sensor developed by Huami Technology, Amazfit GTR 3 Pro can detect the PPG signal of the human wrist. There is a correlation between PPG signal characteristics and blood pressure. Before formal use, users need to calibrate with a blood pressure meter that meets the certification standards. Using PumpBeats blood pressure monitoring engine, the watch can analyze the correlation between the two to support subsequent measurements.

The blood pressure data measured by the watch will be automatically analyzed on the research platform. Once it meets the diagnostic criteria of "suspicious hypertension", after review by the research doctor, an early warning of "suspicious hypertension" will be issued on the App and the relevant information will be given to the researcher. Users who are judged as "suspicious hypertension", if they live in the three cities of Beijing, Wuhan, and Shanghai, will have the opportunity to be transferred to the hypertension specialists of three tertiary hospitals after being reviewed by specialists and undergo a 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure check for free.

Operation precautions

• Before use, you need to calibrate the equipment with a blood pressure meter that meets the certification standards. See the video for the specific operation.
• Because blood pressure changes according to the season, in order to ensure the accuracy of the measurement, it needs to be calibrated at least every 28 days.
• Before blood pressure calibration/measurement, you need to sit still for 5 minutes. During measurement, the wrist wearing the watch must be at the same level as the heart. Talking and activities are prohibited at the same time.
• When measuring, the watch should be worn 1-2 fingers away from the wrist.
