Improved MIUI 12.5 is already available in Russia

The Poco brand, part of the Xiaomi ecosystem, has announced the release of a stable Russian version of the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced proprietary shell for the Poco F3 smartphone.

Thus, we can assume that the spread of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in Russia has begun. As a reminder, Xiaomi previously promised to start updating its smartphones to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced at the end of November, starting with the latest flagships Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro.

However, the Poco brand was the first to succeed. For Russian users of Poco F3, the MIUI Enhanced 12.5.6 RU Stable firmware is already available. In Europe, a similar update became available in October.

MIUI 12.5 Enhanced offers a number of changes "under the hood" that optimize the system. Among the innovations are improved file storage, increased efficiency of memory fragmentation, improved allocation of RAM and ROM resources. All these innovations have helped to reduce the load on the processor, as well as provide improved autonomy.

At the time of the announcement of the global version of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced, the Russian representative office of Xiaomi has shared such a list of smartphones that will be the first to get access to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced: Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G, Mi 10T, Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, as well as Poco F3 and Poco F2 Pro.
