MediaTek and AMD release RZ600 series Wi-Fi 6E modules for notebooks and desktops


According to the MediaTek’s official Twitter, MediaTek and AMD developed the AMD RZ600 series Wi-Fi 6E module, which includes the new Filogic330p chipset to enhance the connection experience of notebooks and desktop PCs. Filogic 330 will provide faster Wi-Fi for the next generation of AMD Ryzen series PCs in 2022 and beyond.

MediaTek officially stated that Filogic 830 is a system-on-a-chip (SoC) with a highly integrated design. It is built on a 12nm process and integrates four Arm Cortex-A53 cores with a frequency of up to 2GHz, a processing capacity of up to 18000DMIPs, and dual 4x4 Wi-Fi 6 The /6E connection rate can reach 6Gbps, and it has two 2.5G Ethernet interfaces and a wealth of external interfaces, which can be applied to routers, wireless access points and Mesh systems.
