MSI has released a number of MEG series gaming consoles with 12th generation Core processors and RTX 3090 graphics cards


Today MSI officially launched a variety of MEG series of new gaming consoles, including MEG Aegis Ti5, MEG Trident X, MAG Codex X5. These hosts adopt sci-fi style irregular shapes, and the surface has custom RGB lighting. This series of products are equipped with Intel's 12th generation Core processor, up to RTX 3090 flagship graphics card, 128GB DDR5 memory.

According to the official, the 12-generation Core processor adopts a large and small core architecture, and the game performance is improved by more than 13% on average compared with the previous generation. This series of game consoles all come standard with DDR5 memory, pre-installed with the Windows 11 operating system, bringing players the latest gaming experience.

MEG Aegis Ti5 host

This model comes standard with an i9-12900K processor and RTX 3090 graphics card. It is equipped with MSI’s unique Silent Storm Cooling 4 cooling technology to ensure performance. The front of the main unit is equipped with a control knob, which can facilitate players to switch between different performance modes; the front is an LCD color screen that supports custom animations.

MEG Trident X main unit

The product is very compact, equipped with an i7-12700K processor, using Silent Storm 3 heat dissipation technology, compared with the previous model, the heat sink has been enlarged, and the heat dissipation area has increased by 26%. The host is equipped with two memory slots, up to 64GB DDR5 memory can be selected. In addition, it also has a PCIe Gen4 hard disk slot, built-in Intel AX211 Wi-Fi 6E wireless network card.

MAG Codex X5 host

The chassis of this host is a standard specification with a side-through design. The product can also be equipped with an i9-12900K processor and NVIDIA RTX 3090 graphics card. The motherboard is equipped with a 2.5G network port, built-in Wi-Fi 6E wireless network card, equipped with 4 memory slots, up to 128GB DDR5-4800 memory can be installed.

MSI also announced a comparison of Intel’s 11th-generation Core processor and 12th-generation gaming performance. The performance of the i9-12900K processor in a variety of games is significantly higher than that of the 11th generation products, leading up to 28%. As of now, MSI has not announced the prices and launch dates of these three consoles.
