OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition presented

After a week and a half of hints and leaks, OnePlus has held a full presentation of the special edition of the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition smartphone in collaboration with Bandai Namco.

The smartphone for fans of the legendary game has been carefully modified. The technical specifications have been preserved, but there is an unusual rear panel design, a gaming user interface, an extended package with an unusual box, and so on.

The back panel is stylized as a labyrinth from the famous game with its main character in it, the labyrinth glows in the dark. The kit offers users a translucent themed case with villainous ghosts, a 65W charger, a USB Type-C cable, a SIM eject clip, and documentation.

The box itself has an unusual elongated shape with the Pac-Man logo and a labyrinth pattern. When ordering through the OnePlus website, the user will also receive a Pac-Man-style stand, which will then need to be built from Lego-style blocks.

The device features themed animated wallpapers, Pac-Man-style charging animations, redesigned app icons, and retro notification sounds. There is also a pre-installed free 2015 Pac-Man 256 game.

The main characteristics will remain from the usual OnePlus Nord 2 - an AMOLED screen with a frequency of 90 Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, a 50 MP main camera, and a 4500 mAh battery with support for 65 W fast charging.

The OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition is available with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal flash storage, priced at 529 euros. It goes on sale on November 16th. This is a small premium over the standard OnePlus Nord 2, which costs € 499 with the same specs.
