Today, Huawei held a presentation at which it introduced the Huawei Watch GT Runner smartwatch. As the name suggests, they are targeted at athletes.
The stylish watch case is made of high-strength composite material, which makes it (case) strong, thin and durable. It weighs only 38.5 g. The watch also has an antibacterial silicone strap. On the right, you can see a button, a control wheel, and a speaker hole.
The Huawei Watch GT Runner has a specially designed runner interface, covering a variety of data from training load to running index. Other parameters that can be accessed in real-time include time, heart rate, altitude, and weather.
The Watch GT Runner is equipped with a 1.43-inch round AMOLED screen. The watch runs on the HarmonyOS operating system, which provides support for downloading various third-party applications such as Kugou Music, Himalayas, AutoNavi Maps, Air Travel, and others.
The watch features the industry's first patented 'floating' hidden antenna design. This design hides the positioning antenna in a polymer fiber material. As a result, signal reception is improved by 135% over the traditional design. The watch supports GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, GALILEO, and QZSS.
In terms of battery life, the Watch GT Runner can last up to 14 days on a single charge. Even with intensive use, the operating time is 7 days. The watch supports wireless charging from the bundled charger, as well as from Huawei flagship phones.
The price is about $ 340, and sales start on November 26th.
