Qualcomm is developing a successor to the Snapdragon 8cx series, code-named "SC8280". At present, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 has appeared on the GeekBench running score website: the basic frequency is 2.69Ghz, the single-core score is 1010, and the multi-core score is 5335.
This result is a significant improvement over the second-generation Snapdragon 8cx processor. The latter scored 778 and the multi-core scored 3028. IT Home has learned that the model equipped with this Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 platform is Lenovo QRD and uses the Win11 operating system.
MSPoweruser pointed out that the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 still lost to the Apple M1 chip's 1739 single-core score and 7600 multi-core score, as well as the Apple M1 Max's 1613 single-core score and 10664 multi-core scores.
