Qualcomm is expected to release the next-generation flagship SoC chip on November 30, which is expected to be named Snapdragon 898. According to foreign media Aroged, the running score data of Samsung Galaxy S22+ equipped with Snapdragon 898 appeared on the Geekbench 5 website. The code name of this phone is "SM-S906U", and the suffix letters indicate that the phone is a US version.

The running score shows that this processor is an 8-core design, with a small core frequency of 1.78GHz, and other core frequencies are unknown. The phone runs Android 12 and is equipped with 8GB of memory. In terms of performance, the Snapdragon 898 processor has a single-core of 1163 points and a multi-core of only 2728 points. It is expected that the engineering machine will limit the performance of the chip, and its performance is similar to the A12 Bionic chip on the Apple iPhone XS.
