Jon Prosser has just revealed some key dates for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. In a tweet he posted on Twitter today, Prosser said that pre-orders for Samsung’s 2022 flagship series will be available. Starting on February 8, the new model is expected to be officially launched on February 18. He also revealed that Google Pixel Watch is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2022.
According to previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 +, and Galaxy S22 Ultra will be in the United States, Canada, and China with a 4-nanometer Snapdragon 898 processor manufactured by Samsung, Exynos 2200 chipset in other markets will be equipped, reported that the chip will be equipped with GPU from AMD.
The Galaxy S22 will use a 6.06-inch display, while the Galaxy S22 + will use a 6.55-inch screen, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra will use a 6.81-inch curved display. All three displays will use AMOLED screens with LTPO backplanes that support variable refresh rates from 10Hz to 120Hz.
As for the rear camera, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 + may be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. The Galaxy S22 Ultra may be equipped with a 108-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, a 10-megapixel telephoto, and a 10-megapixel periscope camera.
The Galaxy S22 may use a 3700mAh battery, the Galaxy S22+ uses a 4500mAh battery, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra has the largest battery of 5000mAh. The latter will have a glass back panel, while the other two models are expected to have a plastic back panel.
