Samsung SoC Exynos 2200 will not be presented on November 19

The Exynos 2200 single-chip system with a GPU based on AMD technologies will still not be presented at the upcoming event on November 19, as previously thought.

This was officially announced by Samsung itself, without disclosing any details. One thing we know for sure - the announcements will in no way be associated with SoC Exynos at all.

At the same time, the event will be dedicated specifically to the semiconductor industry, so the company can talk about some new technologies, memory chips or something else like that.

There are no rumors about the new date for the announcement of the Exynos 2200 and other more affordable Samsung platforms. The company can present them both this year and next year, since smartphones based on these platforms will still be announced in 2022.

Recall that the Exynos 2200 is so far most interesting because it will be the first single-chip system with a graphics core based on AMD's architecture. The architecture is sometimes called mRDNA2, but we do not yet know how it differs from conventional RDNA2, if at all.
