Samsung will release 52 models next year

Samsung broke the sales record of folding screen mobile phones with Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3. The sales figures in South Korea alone exceeded 1 million units. According to reports, Samsung’s goal is to sell 7 million third-generation folding screen devices. Now, Samsung seems to be setting higher goals for its folding screen phones next year.

According to a new report from TheElec, Samsung's smartphone lineup will consist of 52 models in 2022. Samsung's goal is to produce approximately 10 million Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 folding screen phones in the third and fourth quarters of 2022. This means that the company's goal is to sell at least 10 million next-generation folding screen devices. If Samsung continues to improve its folding screen devices with more durable designs and better specifications, it is certainly possible.

The report also stated that Samsung's goal is to produce nearly 38 million Galaxy S22 series smartphones in 2022. IT Home is informed that the company may also seek to sell more than 9 million Galaxy S21 FE, which is expected to be officially listed in January 2022. Speaking of the Galaxy A series (Galaxy A13, Galaxy 33 5G, and Galaxy A53 5G), Samsung aims to produce 78 million units.

Samsung is currently the biggest advocate of folding screen smartphones. The company has released three generations of folding screen mobile phones worldwide. With the introduction of Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3, the company lowered the price while providing a more powerful design and improved specifications than its predecessors.
