The AMD 4700S APU is included in the Minisforum CR50 mini PC. Recall that the AMD 4700S is the same APU that serves as the heart of the PlayStation 5 console, only it has a disabled GPU.
In the case of the new mini-PC, a discrete graphics card Radeon RX 550 is installed to compensate for the latter. Also, the configuration includes 16 GB of RAM and a 256 or 512 GB SSD.
The dimensions of the PC, which are 205 x 192 x 86 mm, allowed the manufacturer to implement a fairly wide range of ports. There are four USB 2.0, four USB 3.2, HDMI, DVI, RJ45, audio jacks, but for some reason, there is no USB-C. Also inside there is a place to install a 2.5-inch drive.
Depending on the configuration, the new product costs from $ 680 (without storage) to $ 760.
