Analysts at Strategy Analytics have evaluated the laptop market for the third quarter. The market grew by 8%, despite a shortage of components.
Models from the premium segment sold very well in the last quarter, both among ordinary consumers and among corporate customers. In the first case, a special contribution was made by gaming laptops and, interestingly, the new MacBook Air on the SoC M1.
The market leader is Lenovo with 23% and a 5% increase in sales. The second place is occupied by HP, which sales fell by 5%, due to which the company's share fell to 21%. But Dell, which closed the top three, somehow managed to increase sales by 50%!
Also in the top five included Apple and Asus with an increase of 10%, respectively. In total, 66.8 million laptops were sold worldwide during the quarter.
