Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be delayed until next year

The first Snapdragon 898-based smartphone has gone into test production, with full-scale production starting later this month, according to information released by verified Chinese insider Digital Chat Station.

It is reported that the standard version of Xiaomi 12 is already starting to be produced, to be presented in December this year. This version will go on sale first. The Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12 Ultra versions will go into production at a later date and are expected to debut next year.

The Xiaomi 12 will have a very high screen-to-front ratio, curved sides, and very narrow bezels, including the bottom. The hole for the front camera will be centered. It will not be a record small, but due to the tiny bezels of the screen, the hole will be perceived as slightly smaller than that of the Xiaomi Mi 11. The novelty will receive an LTPO screen, which can provide the function of adaptive adjustment of the refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. This will effectively conserve battery power.

In addition, news has recently surfaced that the Xiaomi 12 series will have a battery with a capacity of around 5000 mAh. Wireless charging may be limited by Chinese laws and the 50W limit. The wired charging power will be 120 watts. The recently operating flagship Xiaomi 12 was photographed for the first time in the hands of a user.

Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of the Redmi K30, K40, Xiaomi Mi 10, and Mi 11.
