Xiaomi Redmi K50 series Dimensity 9000/7000 is slower than that of Snapdragon 8 Gen1/870

Qualcomm SM8450 will no longer be called Snapdragon 898, but will be named Snapdragon 8 gen1, and MediaTek has renamed the "Temena 2000" chip and officially released Temena 9000.

It is reported that the Redmi K50 universe currently has a complete range of processors , including Snapdragon 870, Snapdragon 8 Gen1 , Dimensity 7000 , Dimensity 9000, and all have corresponding models.

According to Weibo blogger @数码闲聊站, Redmi's Dimensity 7000 and Dimensity 9000 are not as fast as the new Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 8 Gen1, although they are all pre-installed with MIUI 13.

This may mean that Redmi K50 series phones will first launch the Snapdragon 870/Snapdragon 8 Gen1 version. Or you need to continue to wait for the Dimensity 9000 or 7000 version to be polished.

Recently blogger xiaomiui brought news of an enhanced version of the Redmi K50 game. Redmi K50 game enhanced version will have two models, respectively equipped with Dimensity 9000 and Dimensity 7000 processors, of which the Dimensity 7000 version is exclusive to the Chinese market.

The Dimensity 9000 version of the Redmi K50 gaming enhanced version is expected to be equipped with a 120 Hz or 144 Hz OLED display, four rear cameras, and will use a 64MP Sony Exmor IMX686 sensor as the main camera, and Howe Technology’s 13 MP OV13B10 sensor as a wide-angle. VTech’s 8MP OV08856 sensor is used as the telephoto macro, and GalaxyCore’s 2MP GC02M1 sensor is used as the depth of field.

In addition, there is a special version of Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor with 108MP resolution.
