Apple will sell 300 million smartphones

Apple's South Korean partners have announced that the Cupertino-based company has announced a 30% increase in iPhone shipments in the first half of 2022, bringing total annual iPhone shipments to more than 300 million units for the first time.

It is reported that Apple has set itself the goal of shipping 130 million smartphones in the first half of next year, and another 170 million smartphones in the second. To cope with supply problems, Apple has cut production capacity for iPads and older iPhones.

The iPhone SE 3 is expected to launch at the end of the first quarter of next year. TrendForce estimates that the company plans to ship 25-30 million of these smartphones next year. It is expected to retain the 4.7-inch display and home button with a fingerprint sensor. The main differences of the new iPhone SE will be a modern platform, improved camera and 5G support.

In September next year, the release of the iPhone 14 line is expected, in which there will be four models, but this time without the mini. In this line, noticeable design changes are expected with the abandonment of bangs, which should lead to a surge in sales.
