Luna Display auxiliary display update: Mac can be turned into Win11 PC secondary screen, 5K / 4K resolution support

Luna Display aims to turn an iPad or Mac into a secondary display for the main device. It has recently received an important 5.1 software update and introduced new features.

With the new PC-to-Mac mode, users of Luna Display can turn their Mac into the secondary display of a Windows 11 PC. The PC-to-Mac mode is another mode after the PC-to-iPad launched in October. Thanks to the updated software, any old Mac or iPad can now be used as a secondary monitor for PC or Mac.

In addition to the PC-to-Mac mode, the Luna Display update also introduced support for 4K and 5K resolutions. A computer with a 4K or 5K display can be used as a secondary display at its full resolution. This function requires a USB-C Luna Display accessory.

There are also new PC teleprompter mode, office mode for PC users, and magic keyboard support for iPhone users. When using Luna Display, Magic Keyboard and Trackpad can now be used with iPad.

The USB-C Luna Display accessory, which can be used interchangeably with Mac and PC, is priced at US$129.99. Recently, the discount price has been reduced to US$97.50.
