Orico TB3-S2 Docking Station is equipped with a Thunderbolt 3 port

Orico last week presented two interesting portable products. This is a TB3-S2 docking station and a PSSD solid-state drive. The docking station measures 188 x 95 x 24 mm and is equipped with a Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb / s) interface and differs from many similar devices by the presence of two slots for M.2-2280 drives with support for SATA and NVMe. The dock's equipment includes a DisplayPort 1.3 video output, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one of which is routed to the USB-C connector, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and one USB-C connector intended only for Power Delivery. It is capable of delivering 15W, while the second USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) port, which is used to connect a laptop, outputs up to 60W. In addition, there is a Gigabit Ethernet port and a 3.5 mm audio jack for connecting a headset. The docking station is powered by a 120W external power supply and costs $ 400.

The Orico PSSD solid state drive is available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB capacities. It is enclosed in an aluminum case that serves as a radiator. The connection uses the USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gb / s) interface, providing data transfer rates up to 520 MB / s. A feature of the device is biometric protection, implemented using a fingerprint sensor and software that runs on Windows (7 or newer), macOS, Linux and Android. The 256GB variant costs $ 80, the 512GB variant is $ 100, and the 1TB variant is $ 160.
