Realme GT 2 Pro and Moto Edge X30 will be announced tomorrow

Smartphone manufacturers in China are vying with each other for the right to launch the first flagship based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Motorola is expected to announce the Moto Edge X30 tomorrow, December 9th. Realme said last week that it will launch the Realme GT 2 Pro this month, and now the company has confirmed that it will be announcing the GT 2 Pro on December 9 too.

It is likely that Realme can confirm the presentation date of the Realme GT 2 Pro on that day. However, it is possible that tomorrow there will be a full-fledged announcement of the Realme GT 2 Pro, so that this particular smartphone will take the title of the world's first phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. As for the Edge X30, Motorola is expected to start selling on December 15 after the December 9 presentation.

According to Chase Xu, vice president of Realme, the development of the device began a few months ago and will eventually become "a truly high-end flagship product that will exceed the expectations of users around the world."

Realme GT 2 Pro powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC has already been spotted on AnTuTu with over a million points. The phone is expected to have 125W wired charging support, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 flash, 6.51-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, 32MP selfie camera and 50 megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization.
