Sony adds Animal Eye AF for video to a7C and ZV-E10 cameras with firmware update

Sony has announced the release of firmware updates for the a7C and ZV-E10 cameras. In addition to the overall performance improvement, version 2.00 adds the ability to use AF Animal Eye in movie mode on both cameras.

The a7C also adds a new USB Streaming option so that the camera can be used as a webcam by connecting to a computer via USB.

The patch notes for the ZV-E10 include fixing an issue with the Touch Shutter function (focusing and shooting by touching the touchscreen) and improving overall camera stability.

Both updates are available as a free download for macOS and Windows computers from the Sony website.
