TCL Releases New Brand Slogan

CES 2022 officially kicked off on January 6, Beijing time. Due to the epidemic, many companies gave up on-site exhibitions. TCL, which has been exhibiting for more than ten years, still chose to participate. TCL said that it will work hard to turn the huge impact of the epidemic into new opportunities for development, and spread TCL's social value to all parts of the world in difficult times.

In terms of globalization, TCL is one of the first domestic companies to go abroad. It invested and set up factories in Vietnam as early as 1999. In 2004, it acquired Thomson's color TV business and Alcatel mobile phone business to enter the European and American markets. It is understood that TCL has already deployed 32 manufacturing bases around the world, with operations in more than 160 countries and regions around the world.

Before CES2022, TCL held a global press conference and officially released a new brand slogan: "Dare to Be Extraordinary Inspire Greatness".

According to TCL's explanation, "dare to act" is interpreted as "TCL's continuous exploration and challenge of enterprising and perseverance"; "extraordinary" means "to inspire every unwilling soul".

At CES 2022, TCL released new products such as OD Zero Mini LED 8K TV X925 PRO, smart glasses TCL NXTWEAR AIR, TCL NXTPAPER 10s and so on.

Data shows that TCL has invested 10.29 billion in the first three quarters of 2021, and has established 42 R&D centers around the world, with a R&D site of more than 200,000 square meters, 13,000 R&D personnel, 1 post-doctoral workstation, and a national-level R&D center. 4 platforms, and lead the establishment of the National New Display Technology Innovation Center (Ministry of Science and Technology) and the National Printing and Flexible Display Innovation Center (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology). By the end of 2020, TCL had applied for more than 79,000 patents, including 14,761 PCT patents.
