Cooler Master GP27-FUS and GP27-FQS monitors use mini-LED backlighting and quantum dot technology


Cooler Master has entered the mini-LED monitor market with the 27-inch GP27-FUS and GP27-FQS models, which also use quantum dot technology to expand the color gamut. As stated, the coverage of the color space Adobe RGB is 100%, DCI-P3 - 97%, BT2020 - 83%.

The main difference between the two models is that the GP27-FQS uses an Innolux AAS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, while the GP27-FUS uses an AUO AHVA panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The first model supports a refresh rate of 165 Hz, the second one supports 160 Hz, but the response time is the same. It is equal to 1 ms. Both displays are HDR1000 certified. Typical brightness is 600 cd/m2 , peak brightness is 1200 cd/ m2 .     

Each monitor includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DP 1.4 port, and a USB Type-C port with 90W USB-PD support. In addition, there is a USB Type-B port and two USB Type-A ports. We should mention the presence of built-in speakers with a power of 2 W, as well as backlighting on the back of the monitor. The stand provides height, tilt and swivel adjustment.

The GP27-FQS MSRP is $699. Price information for the GP27-FUS is not yet available.
