Dell Technologies has published another report. It includes data for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2022 and for the year as a whole. Note that one of the largest PC manufacturers has a financial year that does not coincide with the calendar year.
So, revenue for the quarter was $27.992 billion and operating income was $1.609 billion. These indicators in annual terms increased by 16% and 13%, respectively. However, the result of the quarter was a loss of $29 million. A year ago, the company ended the quarter with a net income of $695 million. The non-GAAP calculation yields operating and net income of $2.191 billion and $1.390 billion, respectively. They are 2% and 1% more than the values of these indicators for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2021, also calculated according to non-GAAP.
In terms of full-year figures, revenue was a record, surpassing $100 billion for the first time. To be more precise, compared to the previous year, it increased by 17% and reached $101.197 billion. Operating income was $4.659 billion, up 26% from fiscal 2021. Net profit increased by 120% to $4.942 billion.
