RTX 3090 Ti flagship graphics card bounced

At CES 2022 this year, Nvidia released the RTX 3090 Ti flagship graphics card. Nvidia Jeff Fisher said at the press conference that more news about the RTX 3090 Ti will be announced later in January, but Nvidia still did not launch the graphics card until mid-February.

Today, the foreign media The Verge contacted NVIDIA and got an official response from the NVIDIA spokesperson:

We don't have any more information to share about the RTX 3090 Ti at this time, but we'll get back to you when we have information.

Judging from the official response, Nvidia is reluctant to announce the reason for the delayed launch of the RTX 3090 Ti. According to foreign media TweakTown, the reason for the delay of the Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti may be that there are potential problems with the graphics card BIOS and hardware.

The RTX 3090 Ti uses the full version of the GA102 GPU. Compared with the old RTX 3090 GPU, the card not only has more cores but also faster video memory.

In terms of parameters, the RTX 3090 Ti is equipped with 10,752 CUDA cores and 24GB 21 Gbps GDDR6X video memory, and the design power consumption is as high as 450W, which is more than 100W higher than the RTX 3090 model. This graphics card is also the first model to use a 16 pin power connector.
