Samsung Galaxy S22 series garnered over 70,000 local pre-orders in less than 12 hours

Samsung's latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S22, are seeing record levels of pre-orders. This is true for a number of countries, including the US as well as India. Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra orders in India have broken all previous records set by other flagship smartphones. The Galaxy S22 series garnered over 70,000 local pre-orders in less than 12 hours, surpassing the Galaxy S21 and the much more popular Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S10 series, as well as the Galaxy S9 duo.

The world's largest mobile phone supplier said the company will do everything to ensure that all 70,000 devices (and more) are available to customers as soon as possible. In this region, pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra are eligible for the Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch and Galaxy Buds 2 wireless headphones. Pre-orders will be accepted until March 10.

Considering that India is the second-largest smartphone market after China, this is definitely good news for Samsung.
