ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 released


Lenovo officially released the ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 notebook at MWC22. The appearance is basically the same as the previous generation, and the configuration has been upgraded to the 12th generation Core + RTX 3080 Ti.

The ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 is equipped with a 12th-generation Core H-series processor, with an optional vPro version. The graphics card is optional RTX 3050 Ti, RTX 3060, RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti GPU, equipped with dual SO-DIMM DDR5 memory slots, up to 64GB; equipped with dual M.2 2280 SSD slots, up to 8TB.

In terms of screen, this notebook is equipped with a 16-inch 16:10 large screen, the highest optional 4K resolution, 100% Adobe color gamut, 600nit brightness.

This notebook has a thickness of 17.9mm and a weight of 1.88kg. The interface includes two Thunderbolt 4, two USB-A, SD card slots, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

According to reports, the ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 will be available in the euro zone from June 2022, starting at 2,749 euros (about 19,490.41 yuan).
