Vivo X Note smartphone approved for release

The upcoming Vivo phone with model number V2170A has passed the certification of the Chinese 3C regulator. The device will be released under the name Vivo X Note in the home market, while its characteristics are already known.

The V2170A was previously expected to launch as Nex 5, but the name has been changed to Vivo X Note. The regulator has confirmed that the device will ship with an 80W charger. Vivo X Note will be equipped with a large 7-inch Samsung AMOLED E5 display with slightly curved edges and a hole in the center. It will have a Quad HD+ resolution and support a 120Hz refresh rate. The device measures 168 x 76 x 9.2 mm and weighs 221 grams.

The rear of the device will house a quad-camera array with a 50MP Samsung S5KGN1 main sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX598, a 12MP Sony IMX663, and an 8MP OV08A10 with 5x optical zoom.

Vivo X Note will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery that will support 80W charging. It will be a flagship phone based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 single-chip system.

Vivo X Note should be released in March this year.
