Cisco Webex devices will support Apple iPhone, iPad and Mac for AirPlay

Cisco announced an update to its Webex Room, Desk, and Board series of devices, providing iPhone, iPad, and Mac users with deeper functionality. Cisco said that with the update, its Room, Desk, and Board series of devices will be able to be AirPlay targets, allowing Apple users to easily cast their screen to one of the devices.

Cisco has not provided an exact version of AirPlay support, but the company promises that the feature will be available sometime in June 2022. Once launched, it will allow iPhone, iPad, and Mac users to cast their screens to Webex's Room, Desk, and Board series of devices using AirPlay.

Additionally, administrators can ask for a PIN code on the first connection or every time they connect for added security. AirPlay (AirPlay) is a playback technology added by Apple in iOS 4.2 and OS X Mountain Lion, which can transfer files (including videos, photos, and mirror images) on iOS and OS X Mountain Lion or later to support AirPlay device.
