Hackers release Nvidia DLSS source code

An unnamed netizen provided them with the screenshot below and said that the hacker released the source code of NVIDIA DLSS. According to reports, the leaked version is DLSS version 2.2. The leaked information includes the C++ files that makeup DLSS, header and asset information, and a "programming guide" document to help developers understand the code and build correctly.

The netizen, who asked not to be named, is examining the code to understand the inner workings of DLSS.

NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is a groundbreaking AI rendering technology that takes visual fidelity to a whole new level using Tensor Cores, the dedicated AI processing units on GeForce RTX GPUs. DLSS harnesses the power of deep learning neural networks to increase frame rates and produce beautiful, clear images for games.

Earlier that Nvidia has issued an updated statement to it on the "hack" rumors, saying that on February 23, 2022, Nvidia discovered a cybersecurity incident affecting IT resources. Shortly after discovering the incident, Nvidia further hardened its network, dispatched cybersecurity incident response experts, and notified law enforcement. Nvidia confirmed that the intruders had obtained employee information and some NVIDIA-proprietary information from their systems and began leaking it online. Nvidia's team is working hard to analyze this information. Nvidia does not expect this event to cause any disruption to our business or our ability to serve customers.
