MSI recalls some MAG CORELIQUID AIO water-cooled radiators in the U.S

MSI released a product announcement and recently received feedback from some users that the cooling efficiency has decreased when they use the MAG CORELIQUID 240R / MAG CORELIQUID 360R water cooling radiator.

A preliminary investigation by MSI found that a small portion of the heatsinks was producing deposits that could cause clogging, causing CPU temperatures to be above 60°C at idle. However, this will not cause any damage to the system as the processor is equipped with protection mechanisms against overheating.

MSI says users can look up the product serial number here to determine if they have an affected product. MSI will provide a comprehensive product replacement (MAG CORELIQUID 240R V2 / 360R V2) service for all affected products with abnormal heat dissipation.

MSI will continue to work with suppliers to thoroughly inspect all MAG CORELIQUID 240R / 360R water cooling radiators that may be affected.
