Western Digital's next-generation PCIe 4.0 SSD SN770 is on the market


In early February, Western Digital released a new WD_Black SN770 PCIe 4.0 SSD overseas, which will replace the old SN750 SE and improve energy efficiency by 20%.

Now, this SSD has been put on JD.com for pre-sale, and it will go on sale on March 14. The initial price is as follows:

  • 250GB: 349 yuan
  • 500GB: 459 yuan
  • 1TB: 869 yuan
  • 2TB: 1999 yuan

Western Digital SN770 SSD will replace the SN750 SE. This model features a new DRAM-less SSD controller that can deliver sequential read speeds of up to 5150 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 4900 MB/s.

Taking the 1TB model as an example, the SN770 has a sequential read speed of up to 5150 MB/s, sequential write of up to 4900 MB/s, random read up to 740K IOPS, random write up to 800K IOPS, and durability of 600TBW.
