Today, AMD announced a new price reduction activity. Not only did the prices of processors newly listed last month further reduce, but the prices of older processors such as 5950X and 5800X were also reduced.
AMD's flagship 16-core R9 5950X is now down to 3,799 yuan, and the 12-core R9 5900X is down to 2,699 yuan. The R7 5800X3D, which was just listed last month, has dropped from 3,099 yuan to 2,999 yuan.
The R7 5700X, which was launched in 1999 last month, dropped to 1,749 yuan, the R5 5600, which was launched at 1,359 yuan last month, dropped to 1,149 yuan, and the first R5 5500, which was launched at 1,099 yuan, dropped to 899 yuan.
A few days ago, AMD announced the latest roadmap of the Ryzen 7000 processor, the desktop series will be released in the second half of this year, and the mobile series will be released early next year. AMD CEO Su Zifeng will give a speech at the Taipei Computer Show at 14:00 on May 23 and is expected to introduce a new generation of processors.
