Apple builds new office building in Ireland

Apple is expanding the Cork (Cork) office park in Ireland, adding a new office building that can accommodate 1,300 new employees. The Cork campus is home to Apple's European headquarters.

Apple has been in Cork for over 40 years, and the local office park is already huge. According to plan, Apple is preparing to build a new four-story building with a basement, which will be completed in mid-2025.

The building uses 100% renewable energy, and the new building is covered in solar panels , even in the corridors between the buildings. The building contains a Commute Hub for bicycles and scooters, complete with charging points.

Apple currently employs 6,000 people in Cork, spread across the office park and the city centre.
