Apple macOS 12.4 officially released

May 17th is another big update day for Apple. The official version of iOS / iPadOS 15.5 has just been released, and the macOS 12.4 update (internal version number: 21F79) has also been pushed to Mac computer users. It's been 46 days since the last release.

The following information is compiled from Apple's official upgrade summary:

  • macOS Monterey 12.4 includes enhancements and bug fixes for Apple Podcasts
  • Apple Podcasts includes a new setting to limit the number of episodes stored on your Mac and automatically delete older episodes
  • Support for Studio Display firmware update 15.5, available as a separate update, which optimizes camera tuning, including improved noise removal, contrast, and framing

Some features are not available in all regions or on all Apple devices. For the security content of Apple software updates, visit this website: https://support.apple.com/kb/HT201222

It should be noted that due to the cache configuration of Apple's regional node servers, there may be a slight delay in the detection of the upgrade update in some places. Generally, it will not be too long within half an hour.
